The Fancy Food Show, currently underway in San Francisco, is a true culinary experience.
It’s said that if you cannot find a particular food or beverage there, it doesn’t exist.
What would be on your list of “must haves” at the show if you attended? That’s the question posed on the Gift Basket Business Facebook group page.
There are many answers and room for yours, too. Join the conversation through this link:

Many gift basket designers believe that their businesses can stand on its own, selling to individuals and corporations who believe in their products.
Others feel that working with a franchise is a great option because the franchise name is instantly recognized, bringing many more sales than a standalone business may achieve.
While that may be true, there are many pros and cons to joining a franchise that go far beyond money.
You’ll learn more about this topic on the Gift Basket Business Facebook group page.
If franchises are not for you right now, perhaps being a member of a drop ship firm is more appealing. Drop ship membership pros and cons are found on several pages at GiftBasketBusiness.com, which also includes an introductory video.

After speaking with a hospital gift shop manager, I realized that many of them are open to gift basket designers supplying the shops with certain types of gifts that are quick and easy to make.
These shops aren’t looking for the gift baskets we normally design, as they’re too expensive for customers coming in for a quick get well or congratulations gift.
For example, the baby gift shown at RetailWraps.com is one that’s simple to create and affordable for you to sell to hospital shops that re-sell such gifts.
Visit local hospital gift shops to see their merchandise. Then decide if supplying them with bundled gifts is for you, and add this lucrative niche to your plan.
